500 ml capped bottle. Poured in a Upper Franconia Seidla a slight unclear and old reddish-copper coloured A L with a two fingers light beige and pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is caramel and light toasted malts, bready, dark fruits, plums and a barnyard touch. The flavour is caramel and roasted malts, bready, brown sugar, some cocoa powder and a touch of dried fruits, nuts. The mouthfeel is quite thin, creamy and a bit sticky. The texture is watery. This light bodied A L has a dry malty finish. This Rossdorfer Braunbier is an easy and pleasant drinkable Amber Lager from a small Upper Franconia brewery, located close to the German Beer-Mekka, Bamberg.
