I tried this beer on December 4, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange with a thin white head that lasted. The aroma was full of citrusy hops, some floral notes and a bit of grainyt malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was a refreshing balance of grapefruity hops and some grassy malt tones.

Shor lived nose of pine and pine and pine and a bit of flowers. Is this unfiltered? Very cloudy golden amber body topped with a short ives off-white head that leaves fast but leaves a skim coat and moderate lace. Medium bodied and slick mouth with good carbonation.Uncomplicated but nice flavor, good malt backbone with grain present, some ripe fruit, nicely bitter all the way through, very clean and dry finish. Solid normal IPA.

Pours a beautiful translucent, dark golden honey-brown. The aroma is nice and hoppy though not strong. Taste is wildly hoppy, with hints of lemon and honey-like sweetness. Bitterness is restrained.

A dark, murky golden color with a stingy off white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of citrus and pine with a bready malty toffee and brown sugar malt base. The flavor is really nice actually. A solid shot of citrus and pine hop flavor with enough of a caramel and bready malt backbone to provide some balance. Light to moderate hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Overall its a nice brew.

It pours a hazy and thick light-amber/peach with a thin white head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, light hops, sweet orange and citrus, light mango, peaches and apricot, light breads, and mild spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, chewy and nectar-like, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, grapefruit and oranges, mango, breads, apricots, and spiciness. Wow! .. the mouthfeel is incredibly chewy and has a lot of hang-time. Awesome!

22oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is grassy resiny fruity hops with some astringent malt.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with floral resiny hops that linger in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA with good bitterness. Not quite the profiles I enjoy. -

Yellow Snow on a blustery snowy day. Huge snow white head on a hazy orange pour with heavy avalanche lacing. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and apricot hops with a slight maltiness to offset. Taste is blend of the citrus, apricot and snow-pined hops with a slightly gritty mouthfeel and sleds to a finish with a good bitter linger. Nice snowy bitter IPA.

A slightly better than average IPA with all the requisite charateristics in a drinkable and pleasant proportion. No outstanding characteristics - either good or bad. Nice... but nothing special.

I had this at the Colgate Inn as a part of my thanksgiving feast> poured a cloudy yellow with a ton of lacingThe aroma was all hops with maybe a touch of citrus.Moderate to heavy white head. The flavor was hops from strat to finish with a bitter finish. It paired OK with turkey but was better with ham. I could see it being great with duck or goose.

Hazy yellowish color with a little bit of lacing. Plain old hoppy aroma. Medium light body. Mildly hoppy with a slightly bitter aftertaste. A little sweet up front. Pretty easy to drink but nothing special.

Wife bought me a 5L mini keg a couple of years ago (can't believe I forgot to review it). This was an very good west coast IPA--one of the best beers I've had from Rogue. However, it is terribly overpriced. I love the idea of a mini keg but for the price, I could have gotten more beer by buying their standard 22oz bombers at $5 a piece.
