Rhymes with "roast." Seven different malts and three different hops go into our Porter for a smooth yet complex flavor. Ost offers a bold roast flavor with a rich smoothness and a dry finish. Ideally served at 50 - 55°F to best reveal its chocolate, caramel, coffee, and roasted malt notes.

New beer from a new company, first impression is great. Aromas of rich coffee, chocolate, with some faint fruitiness in the back, very very rich. Standard black body, the head is thick, and fizzy and it quickly settles into a thin ring around the glass, no lace to speak of. Flavor greets me with a really bitter, burnt coffee, that thankfully settled a bit. The chocolate swirls in with a taste of earth. I hope their other beers are as nice.
