Pours out a dark gold color with about a inch of white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is very mild of malt.Flavor and mouthfeel are both smooth and of solid rich malt taste.

pours a murky caramel brown color and has a large extremely bubbly, which slowly fades with some lace. The aroma is powdery, grainy malts, not much more. The taste has decent malts to start and is a little sourish tasting with a mild brown sugar taste. The mouthfeel is medium body with a normal amount of carbonation and a slightly dry finish.

Man I am digging this little brewery down by the river next to the Queen City. Nothing overpowering so far, but most are friendly, pleasant and surprising in some instances. This simple bock is no exception, this beer shows you how close the level is from relatively small operation to good all-grain home brew. Chestnut body with a ruby edge.....a fizzy head dissipates to near nothing, but a handful of spots remain on the glass. Full effect of ripe dark fruits and light molasses. Floral and fruity with a lively medium body and silky finish. Clean yeast presence adding some depth without being too filtered (another major reason I enjoy a small regional brew). All the elements of a good bock are here, and all help to keep the balance.
