This unfiltered wheat ale has hints of banana and clove. A great thirst quencher! This is a traditional bavarian weizen. It is more spicy than other wheat beers.

    Sampler @ River City -

I found myself quite suprised that this turned out to be the best beer of the afternoon. Normally, I'm not a huge hefe fan, but this was just a wonderfully fresh beer. Aroma was bursting with bubblegum aroma and bready malts. Flavor had that fresh baked bread flavor, combined with the yeasty-goodness and some really light citrus notes. Excellent, excellent beer and I know next time I drop by, that this beer might just be tops of my list.

more of the banana flavor from the yeast than in many other american versions, which makes it a little more complex and enjoyable. otherwise, standard fare. 5/09 - hit the spot on a hot day

Tasted in Sac at the brewery. Pours a bright golden, hardly foggy at all- head is medium sized. Aroma is faint of wheat but taste is suprisingly weak of sweet, fruity flavors. More like an american wheat.
