A very light colored, full-flavored lager, this beer is called 'StarkBier' in Germany. An all malt version of a malt liquor, this beer is smooth and warming. With no colored malts, this beer is very Pale in color. Using small additions of quality Saaz hops for low hop bitterness and great hop flavor, just enough to enhance the malty flavor. The alcohol sweetness, and the high carbonation bite, this beer is very well balanced. Very light in flavor, the character of the lager yeast is evident in this Spring Classic.

Medium blond color, large head. Malty and slightly sweet. Nice hops good balance. Smooth, velvety taste. Very nice. Mouthfeel is full and round. Some alcohol bite. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty.
