Half liter bottle pours out nearly clear copper – gold with thin off white head. The aroma offers up sickly sweet sugary malts, a sweet mead like quality and a cheap maple syrup covered apple and pear slices like sensation. The taste isn’t insanely sweet like I was expecting. I get sugary sweetness, a pleasing and trying to be dry yeastiness that cuts the sweetness and very slightly nutty like maltiness. To midway it picks up a firm note of peach slices buried under a mountain of bleached white cane sugar. OK, this does end up overly sweet and by half a pint it overcame me and I had to pour the rest down the drain and then hydrate to stave off the adjunct inducing headache that was heading my way.

Why did I buy this brew? I guess no matter what it is or where its from; I am a sucker for a new review. I assume this will taste like American malt liquor...Aroma is of strong alcohol and very malty sweetness with some dried bread coming through as well as some sythetic and boiled vegetables. Appearance is a deep, golden yellow in color with a soapy, bleach-white head on top that dissipates to fizzy and fuzzy lacing. Mouthfeel is medium in body with not much complexity or balance with a palate that is clean and crisp and a bit oily and slippery. Flavor isn't as bad as expected and offers some bready notes as well as malted grain with an aftertaste that is very sweet but not cloying and has some grassy notes with a finish that is exceptionally smooth considering how strong this lager is and has some fusal nuiances as well as some hot alcohol coming through. Overall, not as bad as feared and is strong but not too offensive but, still, not a recommendation...

Not a stout, it's a strong lager and not a very good one to boot. Lithuanian Ghetto Liquor very sweet with an alcohol kick. Sweet candy corn aroma. Nice pour strong carbonation real cool to watch. Sticky sugary mouthfeel. Candy flavor common among the beers I've had from this country, but there is nothing to back the sweet taste. Very one dimensional and definately a slammer.

Almost one of the worst beer I have ever tried. Maybe You could like it if You want to be drunk as fast as possible and it's no difference what to drink. Anyway it seems that this beer is mixed with something stronger??? I really respect Lithuanina brewers, but Birzu alus made it as bad as possible. Don't try it ever.
