Poured from the 1 liter bottle a clear deep amber colored beer with a two fingers light beige foamy head that had a good retention. Great lacings. Soft carbonation. The aroma is caramel malts, dark fruits, plums, ripe raisins, nuts. The aroma is toasted malts, fruity, nuts, at the end a solid bitterness. The palate is round. The finish is bitter and fruity, nuts. A superb beer made by one the smallest ( about 240 hl yearly outpout ) brewer in Germany.
