Hops: Warrior, Willamette Malt: Pilsener, Vienna, Munich I, Munich II, melanoidin Yeast: House Lager The original Festbiers were made to be a lighter, less bitter, and more drinkable version of the classic Oktoberfest. Our Festbier is brewed with a focus on a great depth of malt flavour provided by German Vienna, Munich, and Melanoidin malts, balanced by a touch of Willamette hops. Golden Amber in colour with a fine white foam, lighter than a traditional Oktoberfest beer. Aroma of lightly toasted fresh bread, with an herbal hop note in the background. The flavour of the beer is bread crust, freshly risen dough, and perfectly browned toast, with an herbal, orange hop note coming in at the finish. Bitterness is firm enough to cut through the malt, but balanced to make the beer very drinkable. Extended lagering time gives this beer its crispness and depth of character.
