One needs a light, refreshing ale to slay a summer thirst. Our golden-colored Sunrye fits the bill. Brewed with six barley malts and a touch of rye, it was practically made for trips to the lake and open-flame cookouts.

Pretty average summer beer here, with a rather misleading name of "Sunrye" ale. I couldn’t pick up any resemblance of rye in the flavor or aroma, but I assume it’s there. Aroma was extremely light, with a touch of grains. Golden yellow body with a non-existent head. Light grainy flavor matched the aroma without detracting at all. Void of any flaws or issues, but nearly void of any flavor or aroma. Drinkable, if not forgettable.

A clear golden colored ale. Showcases the bubbles rising in the glass. Moderate frothy white head. But it disappears too quickly. Not much lacing, in fact, none left behind. The nose is faint. Some sweetness, some citrus. Light to moderate body. Some smoothness and lots of carbonation. The taste is wheaty with some faint citrus. Drinkable. Not noteworthy.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a thin head and wheat aroma. It had a grainy/bread aroma, which normally isnt appealing to beer enthusiasts, but Redhook made it good. It had plenty of malt in the flavor with yeasty bread notes and hints of barley.

Pours a nice clear golden color with a decent white head. Aroma is a bit weak, fairly malty and not at all complex. Flavor is malty and wheaty, with just a touch of hoppy bitterness, rather thin and not too pleasing. Texture is smooth and a little watery. Hop flavor dominates the aftertaste.

This one was good but nothing out of the ordnary, Poured a lemony yellow with good carbonation and a thin white head. The aroma was citrusy along with the taste. There was a thin amount of lacing left on the glass. A very drinkable beer It is worth giving it a go.

I thought this was a really good summer beer. I got it at winco foods for 5.48 for a six pack. Thats pretty cheap. It has a really crisp finish and not a hint of bitterness. Very smooth too. I had a henry weinhards hefeweizen after I drank one of these and could hardly swallow the henrys. This one was just so much better, smoother and not bitter

A decent beer, but nothing exciting or anything id like to try again soon. it pours a dull gold colour with a prevalent sweet grass aroma. also sort of smells like bannanas. an easy to sip on summertime brew.

A nice pale gold when poured with a light head. Light aroma - not very potent or outstanding - but nice. Very smooth, almost dry taste with very little aftertaste. A nice summer ale.

The aroma is decent and malty with some hay or straw coming through and is slightly sweet and not too terribly bad. The appearance is a pale golden yellow with some busy bubbles coming to the top with a pretty large head on top that is creamy and remains and leaves very nice lacing on the glass and is off-white in color and is very carbonated. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with some decent complexity with some average balance with a palate that is a bit wet-like and is rather fizzy. The flavor is of sweet malt with maybe some hay or straw with an aftertaste that is a bit bitter and slightly hoppy and is crisp and refreshing with a finish that is a bit dry and slightly bitter and very smooth and not too bad. Overall, not a bad brew here and would be a decent session brew and has pretty good drinkability and is better than any macro-swill out there; decent brew here in my opinion.
