Brewed according to tradition with classic ingredients from Germany, the motherland of bier. German malts, hops, and special yeast from a famous Munich characterize the brew with toasty, caramelized malt notes and a nutty flavor. At 5.5% ABV this Oktoberfest is the perfect way to transition from light summer beers to hearty winter ales.

Taps clear dark amber with a fluffy pale buff head. Malty aroma has roast malt, woody, dusty, and subtle fruity notes. Cider-like apple comes through more strongly in the flavor, which echoes the toasty, malty, and woody hop notes of the aroma. Texture is smooth yet fizzy, and fairly firm. I know Oktoberfest 2014 doesn’t officially start till the 17th, but f**k, let’s get the party started early!
