This German-style Hefeweisen is an unfiltered wheat beer. The special Bavarian yeast we use gives the beer a flavor and aroma of bananas and cloves. This light beer also appeals to many light beer drinkers. The German yeast give our wheat a more authentic taste than Widmar, which is more of an American style Hefewisen.

Another American version of a German classic. Well, to be honest this beer wasn't horrible. In fact, I'd call it passable but nothing extraordinary. Aroma of subtle banana and bubblegum with a sweetness I found myself thinking of powdered lemonade. Appearance was cloudy, orangeish/yellow with minimal head action. While tasting the beer it was clear that some sweetness was left in. Some banana and clove, but really, really subtle.
