San Antonio deserves a craft beer it can call its own, and the Ranger Creek STXL is our shot at creating one. Brewed in the traditional style of a German Dortmunder-Export, the STXL is a delicately balanced and refreshing beer that is perfect for hot San Antonio summers. It has a sweet pilsner malt aroma with subtle earthy, spicy, and herbal hints of German Tettnang hops. The subtly sweet malt flavor and herbal hop character give way to a crisp, dry finish. The STXL pairs well with aged ham, salmon, spicy foods like Indian and Latin, Havarti and Swiss-type cheeses, as well as peach cobbler and homemade vanilla ice cream.

Had on consecutive weekends @ The Flying Saucer, Houston .. . Pours a glimmering gold, medium head, great lacing .. . light german grains with a light sweetness .. . the best dortmunder i've ever had .. . I am a cipher, a cipher....wrapped in an enigma, smothered in secret sauce...
