I scream, you scream, we all scream for...CreamsicAle!! Join us at Railway City Brewing for our newest summer brew!! Taste the nostalgia of this classic recipe reimagined! At Railway City Brewing, we hand zested fresh oranges and added whole vanilla beans and oats to create a full-bodied ale with a silky-smooth finish. Aromas of sweet vanilla and slight citrus notes fill the nose. Orange flavours dominate through the creamy mouth feel, leaving the taste of vanilla on the tongue.

The beer pours a hazed orange gold colour with a thin white film for a head. There appears to be pulp in the film. The aroma is grains, light yeast, oranges, and weak spicy hops. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is watered down orange juice with some alcohol in the mix. This is nothing like the CreamSicles I enjoyed as a kid. I am very disappointed. -

Pours a hazy golden colour with a foamy white cap, average stay and soapy bubbles around the collar. Orange aromas but seems like something else is stealing the show. More like the oats, but should be the vanilla to make this cream cycles. The taste has the same issues with unbalanced oranges, oats and even hops. Oats too high, vanilla beans too low. Was expecting way better. Love this frozen treat, and this is no where near.
