A golden colored beer with a big foamy textured white head rising above. Good retention on that head. Thick ringlet and some film are left. Intense citric hops in the nose. Grassy and lighter citric hops in this full bodied creamy beer.

Really cool angle on a session quencher from Capital, graciously sent to me by heybeerman. Solid hop presence throughout this well crafted cream ale. Nutty, floral and spicy with a mild caramel and grainy malt backdrop. Foamy white head atop a hazy light copper body. Light and creamy, balanced and snappy. Nothing mind shattering and extremely well balanced, this would be a nice one to have on tap.....repeatedly.

Very creamy and certainly hoppy, lives up to the name. Not all that amazing though, not much nose, yellow beer with light fizz. The hops are pretty piney, not a bad beer, a step up for capital. The bottle version is not quite what the tap version was, a bit corny.

Brought to me by SlimJim by way of PfoxyJohn and the Wisconsin Beer Mafia. Golden pour with a short tight white head, spotty lacing. Nice hop forward aroma, not overpowering but upfront, light grapefruit and pine, then the malt sweet nose kicks in. Taste acts like the nose - hops forward, then maltiness, and light sweet of honey. Smooth and very very easy to drink - could pound these! Thanks John and Jim - I owe y'all!

Lager like flavor but until the beer reaches 50 degrees the hop part of the name really didnt kick in. Good beer for traditional beerists. Like the retro look on both the bottle and the sixer carrying case.

Bottle. A medium gold colored body with a slightly off white head. The nose is grainy with some sweet malt and caramel. There is also some apple. The taste is fairly sweet up front, like apple juice, but then is tempered with some piney hops. Notes of citrus come through in the back end with each drink. This hoppy cream ale is very tasty and has enough bitterness to keep it interesting. Well done.
