Our Honey Wheat Ale is brewed with a blend of barley and wheat malts, with just a hint of Nova Scotia honey. The honey used is high quality fruit blossom and wildflower honey made in the Annapolis Valley. This honey is gently blended into the kettle late in the boiling process. Propeller Honey Wheat is fermented at a slightly lower temperature than our other Ales. This provides a cleaner, smoother beer and also ensures the delicate flavours provided by the addition of Honey are uninhibited. Light and refreshing, this is a year round favourite! Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty beige color ale with a small foamy head with low retention and no lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet notes with some faint wheat malt also notifiable. Taste is lighter then anticipated with some light wheat notes with a sweet honey finish. Body is quite full with limited filtration and low carbonation. Not the most exciting beer from this brewery with lacking ester and complexity.

I'm not an ale fancier but I really like this ale...a numbeber of ingredients which are not vnoramlly seen in an ale come together to create a very pleasant and soothing taste. Pours a brilliant clear gold, moderate carbonation, 2 finger frothy cap that lasts well and laces the glass modestly. Aroma is nice... sweet honey ( not cloying) mingles with some fruity ale esters and the warrior hps to give a sweep clover and bread bouquet; Light body, decent malt spine, peppery sweet character and a drying mouth feel. Nice dolup of malt and honey in the frint side is joind by some fruits and clover/gassyness...finishs bready but dry from the wheat. Very drinkable and nicely put together ale for sessions or patio swigging.

Pours a pale golden-yellow colour with a white fizzy head that does not last long. Very sweet nose with the real scent of honey and wheat. Thin mouthfeel. The taste is slightly bitter with that malt and honey mixed quite well. Not much in the aftertaste, just a tad of the honey. Nicely brewed light refreshing beer that smells and tastes what the the name describes.
