Comes out of the bottle a barely translucent mahogany with a light tan head. Strong aroma is mainly sour fruit. Fruity flavor has woody and hoppy notes. Texture is firm and smooth, if not fizzy. Climb this tree.

Pours a deep brown .. decent foam .. lacing is good .. . light yeast, fruit, and plum/prune .. . i like this beer but falls abit in the finish .. . I'd like a single plum floating in perfume served in a man's hat..

My first pretty things, and well recommended too. Drank this with two lovely ladies thus evening, and we were all impressed. Very smooth, quite malty, but not overly sweet. Well disguised abv. Pleasant, even on a warm afternoon.

pretty good beer - but for a quad, a little under what i' hoped. sweet candy-like aroma and flavor. very malty, almost sticky, which can work for the style, but it was one dimensional for sure. not enough belgian yeast coming through, and i thought it tasted a little too much like another beer or two of theres...so maybe i'm looking for less house flavor and more difference between styles. still nice after all that :)
