Mar. 2010 - Okay, after happily zipping thru a half a dozen different pints at the brewpub, I found one subpar, flawed beer. It’s supposed to be a hefeweizen. I raised my eyebrows at the idea of a winter hefeweizen (wondering what THAT’S supposed to be). I found out. It’s sweet. Really sweet. I prefer my hefes heavier on the bubblegum flavors over a heavy clove influence. But this thing was like a piece of banana Hubba Bubba or something. It didn’t work for me.
