The double sense of the name (Coltrane) reminds us of the jazz artist’s four-disk collaboration with Miles Davis in 1956, the titles of which describe the decoction method used in brewing this elegant beer: “Cookin’, Relaxin’, Workin’, Steamin’.” Coal Train is a beer to be savored – like fine jazz.
