Had this on cask and co2 at the Pizza Port San Clemente Rooftop Tasting. This was my choice for the best brew being poured that day.A glowing orange brew with a full head of white bubbles. nice full citrusy hop nose that was a little spicy but not overbearing. Flavor was reminiscent of honey tangerines. Sweet, with just enough hop bitterness. I liked that this wasnt one of the west coast hop bombs that resemble grapefruit juice. Velvety mouthfeel. An excellent brew.

Medium pale brown color. Aroma is malty and hoppy. A medium bodied pale ale. Malts are nutty and slightly sweet. Hops are very prominent and grapefruity. Well balanced. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

from previous notes new comments, 4/2005 Now it’s in bottles and I’ve had several more. I still think it’s a great beer 10/2003 Had this on cask, hand drawn, at Pizza Port San Clemente’s Rooftop event. THis has a beautiful floral/citrus nose. the flavor starts out hops but finishes smooth and creamy. This is an excellent cask conditioned ale.
