The beer was created last year as a collaboration with FeelsGood.ca, a website/forum for Fredericton’s music and arts community. It’s been available on tap at several pubs around Fredericton, and at live Feels Good events, but this will be the first time it’s available in bottles. The beer is described on the label as “a surprisingly light Imperial Pilsner which embodies Feels Good by inspiring the creative pursuits of those who love beer.” First brewed in 2009 for “FEELS GOOD,” a local New Brunswick arts community. The group of artists, musicians, farmers and wonderful weirdos now host FEELS GOOD Folly Fest, New Brunswick’s hottest summer music festival in Gagetown.

Purchased at NB Liquor on my trip to the east coast. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy off-white cap, decent retention and some good lacing. Grainy nose with some caramel, so not too pils-like. The taste is where this comes out with the Euro grass hops. Covers the grain. Not sure about the Impy Pilsner style with the look and aromas, but a good brew nonetheless.
