This pale lager pours a medium orange gold color form a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, fairly long lasting with decent retention. Aroma is grassy and grainy with a hint of citrus and some corn. A light to medium bodied Pale Lager. The malts are grainy and grassy. The hops are slightly spicy. As pale lagers go, this one is not that bad, it doesn’t have any of those annoying Pale Lager flavors and no really bad off flavors. There is some spiciness to it as well. Its also fairly thin and watery and fairly bland. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.

who knows how long this shit sat around in the fridge at the beer room before me and funk cracked it last week. I think we had it with a nice pork tenderloin dinner and it was quite awful. Very skunky, very yellow, extremely light on the body, could barely taste anything but straw and corn husk in it.

At first I was a little worried as this had a slightly skunky aroma. However, the taste was rather smooth and enjoyable. Piast poured a very nice golden color with a thick, rich head.

Poured a golden yellow from the bottle. Moderate carbonation. The flavor was crisp and clean. It had the flavor of a lager you could enjoy evry day without the boredom and unpleasent aftertaste of mass market lagers.

For being a premium beer, it is pretty good. I enjoyed it more than American Standard lagers since it was free of nasty aftertastes and smells. In the end, it's still a boring premium beer, but one that could be drunk regularly.
