Just because our west coast spring was rather late to arrive this year, that didn't stop us from making this traditional Maibock to celebrate the changing of the season. This big, roasty lager packs quite a kick and is known to provoke some odd behaviour in certain Phillips employees.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Added to BP 02 June 2010. From Libations. Poured a clear medium to dark gold underneath a rocky white head; said head fell away rather quickly. Aroma was slightly hopped, yet enough to please. Mouthfeel was smooooooth. Flavour was to rich to be a "hot day" beer, yet pleasing to drink all the same. Another niche beer from Phillips.
