The peat gives this porter a smokey flavor that is pretty good. It doesn't stand out among other peated porters I've tried, but it's worth a try if you haven't experienced this type of beer before.

Sampled on draft at Phantom Canyon. Pours dark brown. Light mocha aroma is followed by a bitter, coffee malt flavor. Some peat smokiness/earthiness and a bit of alcohol present. Smooth. Interesing use of peat to add complexity to an otherwise standard porter.
