Brewed with brown, chocolate and crystal malts, this English-style brown porter sizzles with flavors of cocoa, roasted peanuts and charred steak.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up an inviting array of roasted maltiness from chocolate malts to burnt malts and then a bit of caramel like malts. The taste delivers dark roasted malts to burnt malts and then it sweetens some with some sweet malts and caramel malts. It gets a little sweet nuttiness that makes it’s way to the surface to midway creating some balance against the dark roastiness. Nice roasty porter at 5% as there’s plenty of body going on too.
