A pint of your finest, kind sir! A refined, balanced ale for the discerning beer drinker. Raise your glass. Rich malt flavours of caramel, toffee and light chocolate. This ale is an ode to the pub beers of England. Well balanced flavours of malts and hops make this beer a classic.

Another medal winning beer that doesn’t have any apparent medal winning characteristics. A transparent dark brown pour with a weak bubbly off-white cap. Aroma is weak roast, weak caramel, and floral hops. The flavour is a metallic nutty flavour with hints of roasted malt, yeast, and weak hops.

Bottle - Pours a clear chestnut brown with ruby highlights, tight beige 2 finger cap lasts and laces the glass. Aroma is caramel some wet hay and nuts - no fruit as a proper brown ale should display. Medium bodied, malt accented, smooth and rounded character Silky mouth feel. Flavour profile has a nice chew of caramel malts in the front, balances mid palate as the demure sweetness drops back and hops appear, some nut tones and a hint of roasted grain - long rich finish with a malty after taste. A pretty decent Brown, smooth and very drinkable but I can't help but think if this brew was unfiltered it would really be flavourful and worthy of a higher score.

Last one from their "Un-paralleled Mixed Pack" from the LCBO. Pours a brown colour with ruby highlights. The head is beige, frothy, medium, has good retention, but not much lacing. Decent nutty aromas with notes of roasted malts, caramel and light fruits. Watery mouthfeel and the taste seems to follow that way. A bit of malt, very lightly nutty and with hop that does not go the best with the rest. Goes down OK, with a good nose, but the rest is kind of deceiving.
