Spring Lager. A German traditional spring beer to shake off the chills of winter. Named after the peak of Mt. Tom in Holyoke Goat’s Peak Bock is malty, deep copper in color and full of flavor. Goat’s Peak Bock is fermented colder and lagered for two months to produce a clean smooth yet complex taste. The brewers use Domestic and German malts as well the finest German hops and yeast. A German brewer once said “The strength of bock should not be noticed until the drinker gets up from the table”. Our Goat’s Peak fits this description.

Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Poured a clear rich copper color with a large tan head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, toffee, and some light grassy floral hops. Flavor starts with a mild and refreshing sweetness, caramel and toffee, then finishes with some very mellow bitterness and some grassy hop flavors. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, and exceptionally smooth. A fine maibock, and another winner from Paper City.
