Character Lager: Robust aroma malt with roasted toffee notes This is the official BC Oktoberfest-style beer, authentically brewed by our German Brewmaster, Peter Boettcher. Since this year marks the bicentennial anniversary of Oktoberfest, just like in Munich, we decided to give a nice deep amber color and we made sure we brewed it to the required Oktoberfest beer strengths. The recipe uses a generous amount of Munich type malt to give it a nice rich, caramel aroma and the right amount of German aroma hops from the Hallertau. The result is a full bodied beer that has 5.7% alcohol and a wonderful essence of the true spirit of Oktoberfest.
