Our second annual #IWD beer was brewed using the @pinkbootscanada women’s day hop blend. This blend consists of Cashmere, Ahtanum®, Citra®, Loral® & Sabro® brand hops, creating a blend with tropical, herbal, citrus & woody aromatic qualities. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Pink Boots Society scholarship funds, made possible by each purchase from Yakima Chief Hops.

Hazy bright yellow colour with a big frothy-soapy white cap that stays a while, leaving some foamy lacing. Aromas of the citrus found in a Saison with the fresh hops adding a lot to this. The Saison yeast is also present here. The mouthfeel is fairly thin and with a decent dryness in the end. Flavours of citrus, spices and fresh herbal hops. Everything works well here, so good collaboration. This could be a regular rotation refreshing dry-hopped Saison.
