April 2013: 500 ml can, from Superbrugsen, Denmark. ABV is 5%. Golden colour, large white head. Sweetish aroma, fruity and grassy notes. Soft mouthfeel. Bland flavour, medium sweet, not offensive, but far too little hops.

One of the better beers from the Nederlands. It's smooth and while being a little on the flat side, still has plent of taste. If I was going dutch, this would be the one.

we can get cheap dutch beers over here at less than $2 per can. Oranjeboom is one of those, along with Bavaria, Hollandia and Breda. this beer is slightly bitter with a metallic aftertaste. it's always skunky. if i would to part with my $2 for a can, i would take either Bavaria or Hollandia over this. however, it is slightly better than Breda.

Can from trade: Revisiting this one many years later when it was sold in the green stubby bottle as an exotic Holland import at most upscale metro bars. Pours a pale yellow fizzy with a quickly disappearing cap..gassy looking Hoppy nose ober some grains better than corporate Canadian brews there. Lightly malty slight hops clean dry fast finish, no after taste. A barely acceptable commercial brew.

Light gold color, medium head. Mildly hopped and lightly malted. Good crisp clean taste. Light flavor. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is crisp and very slightly bitter. Some fruitiness to it as well. Typical Euro-lager. Drinkable but nothing special

clear golden colour, chaotic foam with big bubbles, no lacing, fat grassy nose, sweet and medium-bodied, moderate malty and hoppy finish - modest but acceptable

Bought in a 16 oz "tallboy" Typical lager to look at, golden with a massive frothy white head. The aroma is quite Ok..neutral..mostly hops. flavour is strane, Its ok to start bready, semi sweet malts, then theres an odd bitterly astringent taste, maybe its the hops..I dont know, strange. goes well enough on the tongue. Overall this is not very good..had many better Dutch lagers.
