A little bit of Belgium in New York. A straw gold colour, murky, and topped with a snow white head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is wheat, coriander, light bubble gum, and citrus. Mouthfeel is average. Flavor is dominated by the malted wheat and barley, but the spices and citrus can be detected in the finish.

A cloudy light amber yellow with a decent head. Aroma is not strong, wheaty, plenty of lemon tone (but that may have come from the lemon provided with my drink). Flavor is typically wheaty and malty, with a strong citrus overtone and just a hint of bitterness. A nice smooth wheat ale.

I thought I overpaid a little for this single...which I did, but in the end it's good beer. I've paid double this price in this style, for a decent 750ml before, so not that far off. Wanted something new with a summer theme. This fits the category. Flavors of wheat, with some citrus and banana. Not much aroma or appearance though. An above average wit for sure.

Straw yellow, massive haziness, very tall white fluffy cap. Looks like a nice brew. Mild sour aroma with a ton of wheat, mild lemon. I'm disappointed in the lack spice in here I think i smell the coriander but i might be making that up. Mild banana shows up in the taste. Flavour is better then aroma THANK YOU JEEBUS!! Lemon, spice all built on a big wheaty back bone. Brew finishes sweet and clean. Odd as beer hit room temp i swear I'm detecting a hop profile.....I've never found that in a Witt before. Beer is growing on me, a bucket of Ho is still better though. Marks might be to low....but ya.....You know.

It pours a light yellow-gold-straw with a thin white-head and some lacing. An aroma of wheat malts, light hops, lemons, grasses, light breads, vanilla, banana, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of wheat malts, light hops, banana, lemon, vanilla, light breads, and spiciness. Mmmmmmmmm!!!!!! probably the best witbiesr I have had, and one of the best mouthfeels ever to hit my tongue..

I had this beer at Thanksgiving 2010. This beer was very good and I believe I also had the pleasure of tasting this beer at the Belgian Beer Festival in Boston in 2007. I never formally reviewed it because I couldn't remember if I had the beer or not. In any event, this beer is a top shelf Belgian white/wheat. It had a strong wheat backbone but the belgian yeasts added a nice flavor to the beer. The beer had a hint of funky smell and it was very refreshing. I think Ommegang is a world class brewery and I would have this again.

Very nice witbier. The aroma is sweet with banana, orange, lemon and wheat - flavors the same - and very tasty. Three-finger white head with nice lacing throughout. Very nice on a hot day here.

On tap @ Taco Mac in Chattanooga: Pours a clear golden yellow with a smallish head and substantial lacing. Aromas of orange and lemon, sweet yeast and wheat, slight bananas and Juicy Fruit gum. taste is much the same as the aromas with a very refreshing smooth flavor: slightly sweet, fruity, slight bubble gum. Super nice on a hot day.

Picked this up in Marion, IA at Hy-Vee. Surprised to see it there actually. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavor of orange peel, corriander, and wheat. Not overpowering, just right. Very smooth beer.

This brew pours a hazy golden color with small white head. The aroma was banana, orange and vanilla and spice. The flavor is well advertised by the aroma with a bit of yeast bread thrown in for good measure. The mouthfeel was medium. Overall, very drinkable.
