Sampled during RBSG 7/11/2009 at the Grand Tasting. This smoked beer pours an orange gold color from the 22 oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet with a touch of smoke and peat. A medium bodied smoked beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of smoke and peat. The hops are earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet and a touch smoky.

Draught@EBF2008. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is smoked wet wood, some grass, leather and some mild saltwater and mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is quite much the same along with some very sweet fruity notes. A bit sweet in the flavour.
