pours a very clear amber color with about an inch and a half off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like toasted malt, caramel and some earthy/spicy hops. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma but there's also some bready flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, smooth and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation.
