Large tan head with fair retention and some stringy spotty lace. Black with a teeny bit of red edging. Nose of chocolate and roast and a hint of berry. Medium bodied, soft carbo, creamy on the palate, oily. Basic chocolate and roast flavors, some milk chocolate and a little licorice, mild coffee as well. Lightly sweet roasty, bittersweet finish. Bomber from statelineliquors.

July 2010 - Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing this suprisingly tasty treat. Pour was dark as night with nice boozy and chocolately aroma. Flavor was smooth sweet chocolate malt, with nice rich oaty/graininess. Some roasted malts provided a nice finish to the experience. One of the better "nonimperials" out there. Darned good.
