Black with a good head. Vanilla and a bit of espresso. Lightly creamy mouthfeel. Slight acidity in the bad. This is good, but I always imagined it would be better after hearing all the hype. Better than the bottle though.

Keg at the Old Dominion Brewing Company, Ashburn, VA. Very dark with slim tan head. Aroma is chocolate, dark malts and roast coffee. Sweet and dry taste, with chocolate and dark fruits. Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Excellent.

Poured an opaque black color with a tan head though no lacing on the glass. Smokey, oak, vanilla, chocolate, aroma. Taste was very creamy, more roast and chocolate, vanilla oak. Whiskey burn on the way down. Creamy mouthfeel.
