Introducing our new unfiltered German hefeweizen. Natural, unfiltered and crisp. This golden coloured German-style wheat beer is made with a unique yeast strain that gives it a malty aroma and subtle banana-clove flavours with a dry, yet refreshing finish. Sonder–short for Besondere–means special, referring to the unique yeast strain used for our newest brew.

Pours a good size frothy white head and has a slightly hazy, pale golden appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas of yeast, bread malts and bananas. Flavours are also quite yeasty, with some notes of cloves, bananas, and tropical fruits. Pretty smooth mouthfeel. Lively carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with frothy off-white head that stays pretty long and gives out thick creamy lacing. Lots of bananas in the aromas with some yeast, reminding me of banana pudding with the hints of vanilla. Some tropical fruits that also disappear with time, but appear softly in the taste with the milder bananas. Not the best hefe. Kind of a little too sweet overall. One you have to drink cold.
