First O'Fallon beer for me, this was a dark amber with a puffy head. A jam like fruitiness, blackberry of course and a raspberry taste. Says a natural flavor but it seems there are pieces of fruit here which is good.....The fruit flavor was a little too 'cute' tasting over the caramel malts which were kinda bland as far as scotch ale goes. Mouthfeel was light and creamy.....More richness would have made this a solid beer. Still this 6pack was enjoyed (mostly warm) and kept me company through my travels

This is a bit of a ho-hum beer. The color is a clear medium brown. The aroma is mostly malty, but there's this artificial-like fruitiness that is a bit off-putting. The flavor is much the same. It'd be just a boring beer without the attempt at the fruit, but that fruit, even if it is real, doesn't really mesh well with the beer.

Aroma like a geuze, which I love. :) It’s got that sour vinegar-y, funky cheese thing going on, but layered nicely over the butterscotch, alcohol, berry-berry kix aroma. The flavors were like blackberry perservatives, butterscotch, carmel, strawberry, malts, and a nice smooth mouthfeel to round it out well. Still has a bit of funk to it, but I’ll take it!

A dark amber color. The aroma is slightly vinegary with a strong raspberry and blackberry flavor. The flavor is well balanced with a doughy presence. Some blackberries and nutty in the taste. A little thin on the palate but overall not a bad fruit beer.

Appearance is fairly dark, slight purple/maroon tint. No head from the bottle I had, just a thin layer that disappeared immediately. This beer has absolutely no lacing. The scent is fruity with a slight bitter smell. Mouthfeel is medium, slightly smooth but fairly high carbonation. The flavor is pretty simple to my tastes, not a very complex beer. It is refreshing, as are most fruit beers in my experience. The beer seems to get sweeter as you drink it, but no new flavors come out to me. I’d recommend this fruit beer to someone who wants to try fruit beers, but isn’t crazy about the sweetness, because it isn’t overpowering like other fruit beers I’ve tried.

Bottle. Poured a murky, brown color with floating white sediment and a swirl of yeast (I'm guessing) with a lightm off-white head with a brown swirl in the middle. Aroma of yeast and blackberry. Nice mouthfeel. Nice malty favor with a nice balance of blackberry. Next to their Smoked Porter, my favorite Ofallons offering.

Well done, with a risky beer, O'Fallon. In the nose and tongue a very nice balance of roasty and sweet malt, with hops and just enough blackberry in the background to make it something special.
