An OBC style Oktoberfest Lager with generous amounts of hop bitterness balanced with the flavor sweetness of Honey and Vienna malts. Nicknamed "Sloth-toberfest" by our brewers due to the painfully long time to complete primary fermentation. Brewed with local CSU bar Ramskellar.

Sampled on 10/1/2012 at Odells Brewery. This Oktoberfest/marzen pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is bready, malty and sweet, with a touch of earthiness. A medium bodied marzen. The malts are bready, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Nice bready malts. Not overly sweet. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
