A solid American wheat, with a classic nose that transitions to a faint cherry aroma complimenting its rich amber gold hue. As this well-balanced and deceptively light-bodied wheat beer travels across the tongue, the willamette and perle hops hint at bitterness, followed by a crisp, clean wheat flavor that cuts to a subtle tart cherry finish. Asked to describe the flavor of Archangel, the most accurate response is: "it tastes like more.”

A cloudy orange colored beer with a small, three fingered frothy textured, white head rising above. It settles fairly quickly leaving no lacing. A light fruited nose. Cherry sourness quite evident in the tasting. A bit flat. Perhaps a bad bottle?

Pours a darker orange tinted amber in color and forms a large bubbly head that reduces down to a thick white surface coating. Some very light lacing. The aroma has a hint of sour cherries, but the dominate smell is of carbonated water or seltzer. The taste is surprisingly mild tart cherry flavor. Beer itself is tart, yet with a slight candy like sweetness on the back end. Cherry and a hint of vanilla with some easy pale malt in the background. The mouth feel is on the lighter side of medium in body, but with heavy carbonation.

Bottled@SBWF2010. Hazy amber colour with a mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruits, wheat and rather sweet. Flavour is wheat, biscuits, fruits and mild berryish and malty notes. Slight tart notes in the finish.
