Bottled. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild syrup as well as some slight hopping as well. Flavour is brown sugar, caramel malts, mild syrupy notes as well as some floral and fruity hops. Balanced, but not that exciting.

Brown ales are always so flavorless to me. You take a look at one and think it'd be chock full of goodness, only to be let down. The beer pours out a slightly hazy, reddish-brown color with a minial head 1/2" head. Aroma consists of earthy hops, sweet malts and a bit of sourness. Light roasted notes, a touch of bitterness, some bready sweetness. Mouthfeel is lifeless and thin. I think NC's master brewer took the night off on this one. Either that or they used up all the old ingredients.

i'm not sure what the goal of the acme line is. i love north coast and several of their beers...it's like the brewmaster at north coast had a little brother that needed a job, so he gave him the acme beers. this on, like all of em, are pretty boring. standard brown, nothing special.

This was crap-tastical. Smells like sweaty socks, vomit ,and fish. Looks like a great IIPA but looks NOTHING like a brown ale. lol. ruby red color with lather-y creamy white head. Flavors of sweat, blood, and tears. Lol, no but its terribly salty tasting, with no hints of brown ale-ness whatsoever. not good. sorry... *shudder*

This was horrible. A dark amber color with some bleach in the nose. This smelled off and tasted so as well. A rough mouthfeel with some nuttiness and caramel present. The aftertaste was watery and dry. Was this a bad bottle? Seems odd seeing how this has only been in the store for a week, gross!

I had this at a tasting at Bevmo. This is the yellowest brown ale I have ever had. it's yellow w/ some hints of brown. it starts roasty and finishes a bit hoppy. it was ok.

Light brown color, medium head. Mild malts, nutty and sweet. Mild hops. Nice flavor. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is malty and slightly bitter.

A drinkable Brown Ale, nice touch of malt, some hop undertones and a fair bit of carbonation, decent nose overall. My first experience with this brewery and all 3 of the beers received are quite drinkable.
