This big, bold copper-colored ale showcases Munich & Crystal malts to create a big supportive body on which we layer our favorite Washington hops. Chinook & Cascade provide citrus and piney flavors, while Northern Brewer adds a hint of mint. Dry-hopping with Cascade and Columbus increases the beer's hoppy aromas. Malt, hops and yeast-derived fruitiness combine to create our most complex offering.

Sampled the last of the 4-pack on National IPA Day. This grew on me with each sample. Bought on clearance for about a buck each, then sat around for a few months, so the aroma and flavor may be weighed down a bit. Still has that bold hoppy west coast flavor. Heavier on the malt...maybe some rye added too for extra sweetness. A hazy dark mahogany appearance. Piney aroma. Kind of forgettable, yet still a solid brew.

A dark amber colored beer with a big frothy textured light tan colored head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. A thick creamy cap and film are left. A muted musty citrus in the nose. Bittering citric hops. Full bodied and smooth.
