Nimbus Brown Ale is a rich, medium-bodied American-style brown ale known for its exceptional character and light, friendly flavor. Unlike heavier English-style brown ales, the light, smooth Nimbus Brown is sure to please even the most discriminating dark beer lovers. Nimbus Brown will even win over light beer drinkers who typically shy away from dark beers because of the alcohol content and heaviness. The flavor of this Arizona-brewed Brown Ale is derived from its two crystal malts and is rounded with a nutty flavoring from chocolate malt and a hint of black patent malt. The smooth malt blend is accented by the aromatics from imported Czech Saaz hops. This combination provides a mild malt flavor and a relatively dry, aromatic finish. Nimbus Brown Ale is an Arizona favorite available throughout the year.

I got this beer from a coworker who lives in Arizona because he knew i hadn't had anything from his state before. Pours a very dark brown with a good tan head. Aroma is very nutty and caramel malt sweet. With hints of hops. creamy medium body with some hop dryness. Easy to drink. My first Arizona beer in over 10 years of reviewing and it's a good one.

Pours a dark brown with a small head. The aroma is a bit of nuts, some metallic notes and something that I can't quite put my finger on, but it sure isn't pleasant. I'm not really digging this beer at all.

Smelled of coffee, but tasted very light. Color was a light brown. Don't know the next time I'll actually go out and buy it again (just not my style), but GO AZ!!!!

Pour a very light brown, which smelled of coffee. Flavor was overwelled of coffee mabye some hops. There was an awful metallic aftertaste. Very light mouthfeel.

Definitely a plus if you like uniqueness. However, this was too much like a porter (weak, though) than a brown ale. Pour was clear brown with a small head, but decent head. The aroma was mostly coffee. The flavor was mostly coffee over top of some caramel malts and light hops. There was a metallic aspect to the aftertaste, which seemed to then be in the aroma a little. A rather bitter finish. Mouthfeel was somewhat light for the style. An odd beer.

Dark brown color, medium head. Aroma is fruity, nutty and sweet. Roasted malts, good nutty flavor. Medium bodied. Slightly hoppy. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Pour is a smooth brown with a tan bubbly head that leaves considerable lacing. Aroma is strongly malty with some coffee and chocolate undertones. Taste is a bit light for my likings, but is still very enjoyable; malty tones backed by a bit of coffee and chocolate and with a slight nuttiness to it. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel with a tingly carbonation feel and slight hoppy bite to finish off. Good solid brown... go ARIZONA!

this beer is a tad bit light compared to its aroma. what originaly hit me as a strong coffe bit quickly turned to a smooth chocolate with a slightly bitter after tone

Had a sour type initial aroma but that soon changed to soft chocolate, the taste foloowed the second aroma, it stayed cocoay and sweet to the end. Could be a little bolder, but I will have friends going to Arizona bring me more

A good brown ale, not great but good! Nose is malt with a hint of toasted grains, slightly sweet and evenly carbonated, a bit of hop bite at the finish. Don't like "Dark" beers, I think you will like this one. More's the pity you may need to come to Arizona.
