This beer poured a clear dark red colour with a this white ring for a head. The aroma was overpowering on the tartness of the cherries. The taste wasn't as strong on the cherries but they were present along with the grainy malt.

Sampled at Volo. WTF this beer smells and tastes like cheese!!! I like cheese and all but ewwwww. After about a third of the way down the cheese taste dissipates and a slight cherry taste does take affect, but this along with it's weak mouthfeel makes this nothing more than swill. The colour however is the one redeeming quality of this beer. Very red, very nice.

The beer pours a nice red colour with a creamy, pinkish head. The aroma is slightly hoppy with cherry tones. The mouthfeel is creamy, medium-bodied with high carbonation. The flavour is definitely strong on the sour cherries. -

Sampled from the fermenter a few days before racking: I think this brewer is onto something making a well hopped unfiltered ale fermented with pure sour cherries...has the sour pucker of a unsweetened cherry sour ale without all the hassles of dealing with lacto bacillus Appearance: clouded amber with a pink tinge to it...massive frothy cap lasts and laces Aroma: tart, fruity a tad musty-sourness..good nose for a non lambic. Falvor: Devoid of sweetness...tart verging on sour, light mustiness and some wood, sharp hopping and a grainy malt undertone...finish is puckering like a unsweetened fruit lambic This is a really decent fruit beer that is relatively successful in mimicking a sour ale kriek.....certainly more cost effective than Liefmans and saves you coping with that sickening Belgian candi sugar sweetness....this is a sour ale drinkers domestic quaff. I think I’d buy this if it was a regular rotating offering from this brewer
