Is insanely dry hopped with Centennial Hops. This pale copper colored ale has a flowery hop aroma and a bold hop bitterness. Hop Heads Only Please!

A good initial hop flavor followed by a sweet aftertaste. It had good color but lacked a bit in the head department. All in all a decent IPA though. I will definately try this one again.

Amber pour with a thin white head. Minimal lace. Small amount of floral notes and hop bitterness to it. Not sure if this one had been sitting around for while since there was zero carbonation.

Bought for the label, as I am a fan of all things Alice. A rather lackluster IPA, but that might be because it was coming in at the end of the night. Medium-bodied, copper-orange color, very subdued flavor profile. The balance is there, but it is just a bit tame for me.

pours a hazy reddish light brown with very little head. Reflects light in a deep red, which is actually pretty cool. The aroma is very weak, with a light grainy aroma with little hop scent. The taste is just above average hoppyness, which works well and is not overpowering. There also is light with subtle spice character. The mouthfeel is heavier than the taste but leaves a good hoppy aftertaste.

I picked this IPA up from the Wine Gourmet in Roanoke. This beer was good - it was piney, large bodied, with a hint of citrus. The beer was resiny. Generally a very plesant beer.

Pours amber orange with a thin white head that disappates rapidly with very little lacing. Rather flat, but intensely hoppy aroma with flavors the same, but lagging behind. Medium to light bodied. Decent beer, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Pours a clear coppery amber with a fairly thick pale cream head that sticks around for a bit. Aroma is strongly hoppy with an undertone of malt and a hint of citrus. Flavor is fairly hoppy and a little malty, but not complex. Texture is smooth and fizzy. Not too shabby.

Sampled March 2009
An ample pour into my large Tripel Karmeliet tulip produces a fat-two-finger thick, lightly tanned, pale head. The beer is a reddish amber color that shows a lightly hazed, red tinged, copper hue when held up to the light. The aroma is all about the hops with fruity / citrusy nose playing the up front role. Behind this is the scent of fresh pine needle and a spike of biscuit like grain. The up front hop character reminds me of ripe lychee, tangelo, candied apricot and bright citrus jam. I really like the aroma on this beer.Fairly dry, this beer has a light malt sweetness to it. The beer is pretty easy drinking a the lighter body make this quite quaffable. The dryness accentuates the herbal hop flavors (pine and even a touch of hemp) and amply biting bitterness over the fruity hop notes that dominated the aroma. The fruitiness is still here, just much muted and more as a spicing to the overall flavor; a touch of Meyer lemon zest is noticeable as is a hint of apricot essence. The finish has a bit of bread-like / cracker-like malt to it that helps to round out the bitterness just a bit.
Not a bad beer, the flavor doesn't live up to the juicy, hop laden promise of the aroma, but it is still not shabby. This could use a bit more malt character to support the fruity hop notes in the flavor, but I do like how quaffable this is.

Decent IPA from New Holland Brewing. Pour is a darker golden brown, kinda like honey. Small white head that lingers for a bit. Taste isn't real hoppy, but is decent. Maltyness is present too.

Sampled from bottle. Pour cloudy dark copper with a thin, creamy head. Aroma is a burst of citrus, floral hops. Pleasant toasted malt backbone and more floral hops. Incredibly smooth! Delicate carbonation. I'd drink it more if it were local.

pours cloudy amber with small, creamy head. The aroma boasts evergreen and grapefruit notes. The flavor is bright, clean, dry, but not overly bitter. Light-to-medium bodied with strong carbonation.
