Mothership Wit elevates the zesty Wit or White beers of Belgium with wheat malt, coriander and orange peel spicing - all of which are organically grown. The alluring taste is the result of gravitational balance of citrus and sour flavors held in suspension by a bright burst of carbonation. "Mothership", long the nickname of New Belgium's brewing facility, has grown to encompass the brewery's sustainable approach to doing business. Appropriately, MOTHERSHIP WIT - a Wit to Make One Wonder.

The aroma is spicy and citrusy right off the bat. Lots of spice. The appearance is a hazy white/blonde color. very nice. Thick spicy mouthfeel really grabs you. The Flavor is complex with hints of hops, spices, orange, lemon. Nice summertime beer.

similar to other standard wits out there with a bit more lemon peeking through the orange and the coriander. not one i'll seek out again, but not half bad either.

Hazy golden pour with a slight head that hangs on for a bit. The flvaor was a musty yeasty wheat. There is a slight hint of citrus, maybe lemon. Sorry, but I really was not taken with this one.

This beer pours a hazy orange color with a bright white head that went away pretty quick. IT has a the smell of wheat and a little honey. The taste is a wheat as it goes down and at the end you get a little citrus and banana.

Nice full head that seemed to disappear too quickly. Very good aroma of yeast and sour citrus fruit. Drinkable with a sour, wheat flavor and an aftertaste of wheat and bananas.

Just had to have this on the 40th anniversary of the first Moon Landing! Aroma is strong, wheaty and yeasty with a hint of lemon - downright inviting. It pours a pretty slightly hazy yellow with a fairly thick if not too persistent head. Flavor is fairly typical of a witbier - strongly wheaty, a little yeasty with a lemony trace. Texture is smooth, fizzy, just a teensy watery but otherwise good. Refreshing indeed. Happy Apollo 11 Anniversary, everybody! Heck, call it Moon Day!

Pours a hazy, light, almost pastel yellow, with a very short lived one inch head. Aroma is citrus and clove maybe? Taste is smooth, and fruity, yet malty. At first sip, I wasn't sure about this one, then it settled in on me, and I kind of almost liked it. It isn't a bad beer, but not in my faves list.

A really nice beer to waste away a lazy Sunday California afternoon. Mid 80's, a cool Delta breeze coming off the southwest, Celtics playing on the tube and a slew of New Belgium beer in the 'fridge. The beer pours out a rather light yellow hue, a touch hazy with a smaller sized 1" white head. Reminded me a bit of Mt. Dew in my glass. Aroma has some nice touches of banana, tangerine, a touch spicy (cloves?) and some sweetness (first thought of cotton candy). Flavor has some gripping biscuit malts, wheat notes, citrus, cloves and light honey. Smooth and easy to enjoy and consume.

A very cloudy yellow colored medium bodied ale with a white head that dissipated quickly. Somewhat spicy undertones with orange and coriander flavors. Bread and citrus like aromas. A good rendition of a witbier.

Poured a light almost opaque yellow with a frothy head that didn't last very long at all. The smell was of coriander and star anise with an overly spicy taste and a very distinctive taste of dishwasher detergent. First beer in a very long time I didn't finish.
