Had the organic version. Strong, crisp, malty aroma has a fruity underpinning. Pours a clear, bubbly caramel brown with a fairly thick, though not persistent, buff head. Malty, slightly fruity is pleasant if not complex or remarkable. Texture seems rather thin and lacks fizz. Average, but still potable. Good with a meal.

500 ml capped bottle. Organic. Poured a clear burgundy-brown coloured Dunkel with a pillowy three fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is overwehlmed by the roasted malts, notes of coffee and caramel. The flavour is roasted malts, caramel, fruity, ripe raisins and nuts. The mouthfeel is creamy and oily. This light to medium bodied Dunkel has a dry malty finish. For me, a too one-way beer.

A hazy reddish brown colored beer. A medium sized, frothy textured, off white head rises above. Little hang time. Settles into light lacing of a thin ringlet. Spicy, malt, citrus notes ever more lighter rise to the nose. The nody is thin to medium. Some creaminess, but on the lite side. Flatter than I can appreciate. The taste has some spice, some banana, some malt on the tongue

This dunkel pours a medium amber brown color from a 33cl bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is light caramel, touch of fruit, with some earthy hops. A light to medium bodied dunkel. The malts are caramel and a touch bready. The hops are a touch earthy. Lightly carbonated. Touch of spiciness and some smoke. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

(Bottle, trade with joss in Germany). Organic! Reddish brown colour, very good head. Roasted malts, toast, caramel, oak and pine wood in the aroma, some smokiness. Flavour is all malts + a slight smokiness, nice bitterness, well balanced. This is a good dunkel!
