Pours very frothy tan head. Does breakdown fairly quickly. Color of very dark root beer where the light doesn’t go through very easily. Flavor of chocolate malts in the taste and the aftertaste is like that of cocoa. Sort of warmness in the aftertatse on the palate. Fairly enjoyable. Body is thinnish, but a small bite of carbonation too. Wish it had a bit more body to it. Too bad its so expensive ($5/500ml btl at Ledger’s Liquors, in Berkeley, CA). Says made with 1750 recipe, but its also filtered
