Pours a straw pale yellow with nice white head that hangs around for a while. The aroma is light malt. The taste is light and refreshing nothing special but good. The mouthfeel is light medium with nice carbonation.

Pours a typical straw yellow with a white head. Crisp aroma is malty and quite yeasty. Malty flavor has a hint of yeast, nothing special but good for a party or while watching the Red Sox kick ass. Texture has typical fizz and thickness. Nothing special, but still a worthy brew.

Very basic in every respect, at best. Grainy, grassy aroma with a veeeery pale yellow color and virtually no head. Slick, oily and malty to the palette. Tasted like the mouthfeel. At $6.99 for a sixer of tall boys, I felt ripped off.

OK...I'll admit. My mission on this RI vacation was to try as many new local beers as I can. Then after reviewing my review on the porter that they sell in FL, as well as noticing the low prices and following up on reputation, I figured out that this brewer just isn't that good. Anyways, was at Foxwoods Casino and they have free drinks. Choices (Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, and Narrangansett Lager). I know about all the first choices so figured I'll give this a try. How bad could it really be, right? After a few sips I know that I probably should have gone with a Budweiser. Hard to find a pale lager that I like....this could be on the low end of the scale...pretty much for all beer. Corn and water in the flavor. Virtually no hops. Flatter carbonated mouthfeel. It doesn't get much worse than this folks!

16-ounce can at World of Beer, Key West. Fizzy yellow pour with a rocky white head, nil retention. Corn aroma and corn flavour. Watery mouthfeel and a jagged finish. Only did this to rate a Rhode Island beer. Not at all nice.

Well I can't really say much that's positive about this beer except that it's yellow and pours a big white head. The smell and taste are about the same, bad. I couldn't even finish a really cold one.

My first venture into Rhode Island. A pale yellowish colored lager. Big frothy white head that dissipates quickly leaving nothing behind. There are lots of bubbles rising in the glass. The aroma is corn. The body is watery and the taste? Watery nothing.

Pretty nasty. gave me a case of the beer shits. Woke up to a pounding hangover after a night of cheap beer drinking. Avoid this like the plague, as it will definetly get the job done, if you want a great hangover.

I use to drink this beer when it was made in Rhode Island. It is a pretty decent shit beer(cheap beer). It did give really nasty hang over that involved the squirts. It was very bitter if I remember correctly.

This one brings back lots of memories This was another fav from college when the most for the least was the rule of the day. There was nothing special about this one it was pale yellow. It tasted malty with just a bit of bitterness and was wet. It was best drank very cold and quickly. I know I enjoyed everyone of them.
