Guten tag from Nuremberg, Germany! Our third stop on our trip around the world brings us to Germany just in time for Oktoberfest! This Festbier was brewed in partnership with our friends at Orca Brau, a German brewery that respects history while challenging the status quo. Fresh bread dough and a light toastiness dominate the aroma, with low herbal & spicy notes to support. The flavour is led by soft grainy sweetness and is lightly toasted, with herbal and spicy notes to balance, making for an easy drinking lager that finishes crisp and clean. Pair with soft pretzels and jagerschnitzel! Prost!

The bee pours an amber-hued gold colour with a weak short-lived head. Lacing is also weak. The aroma is toasted malt, light caramel, and floral hops. Smells good. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is ligt toast and caramel, but there’s a nagging tanginess that takes over the finish.
