"If one is good, then two is better!" Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops do the math, it's academic. This brew has twice the things you're looking for, and it's big enough to share with the one you love. And isn't that what it's all about?

OK, so this is a hop bomb for hop heads. If you don't like hops -- don't taste it cuz there is lots. It pours out orange with some darker tinges. The aroma screams "grapefruit" and a very bright shiny one at that. A sip of this stuff will clear out your sinuses. There is enough malt to balance it, somewhat, but you really gotta like a hoppy grapefruity mouthful to enjoy this one.

It pours a hazy burnt-orange with a thick and tasty white/light-orange head and copious lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, pine, citrus fruits, some bitterness, brown sugar, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is sort of thin yet smooth. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, pine, citrus fruits, honey, bitterness, brown sugar, light alcohol, and spices. Excellent!

This poured a dark orange color with a white head. The nose contained some pine, oranges, and perfume. The flavor was rather bitter but well balanced. I taste some oranges, lemons, and some caramel. The finish was quite bitter as well. Overall a well done IIPA!

Comes out of the bottle a slightly hazy dark amber with a fairly thick and frothy white head. Aroma is strongly hoppy and has a hint of lemon. Flavor is strong and quite hoppy, just a little bitter, very satisfying to an IPA lover like me. Texture is fairly smooth and just a little tingly. Worthy of a try, at the very least.

On tap at the Flying Saucer, aroma has alot of pine, with some citrus as well. A nice looking deep orange body with a nice thick cap. Flavor of caramel malts, and lots of stickey pine. Overall it was ok but unbalanced.

From Libations. Poured a hazy orange with a rocky white head. Aroma wa oddly low key for and IIPA, but not so the taste, with a lot of hop action. Mouthfeel was okay but not outstanding. Pretty good but not great.

Thanks to BigManne and quaternio for this one. Pours a clear, orangish-red with a medium white head. Aroma was mostly hoppy with a bit of maltyness coming through. The flavor is smooth and malty at first but finishes bitter. Not bad at all.

Not only is this beer a great buy, but it's a really nice example of a IIPA. Sure, it's big brother Hopsickle gets most of the attention, but this guy can really do a number on you. Make no mistake. Instant hop gratification if that's your thing.

The beer pours out a clear orange/amber hue with a 1" thick head. The head melted after awhile and didn't leave very much impressive lacing, but it was still a nice pour. The beer is a hop monster with a contstant salvo of unrelenting grapefruity hops. Juicy, resinous and enticing. The malt profile was unbalanced, but it is a DIPA after all so the hops do shine. Caramel malts, a touch of graham cracker all cower underneath the hoppage. I'm always happy when I see new bottles of this on the shelves, because fresh it's damned tasty.
